On the same night as the VMA's, Sarah D utilised her dancing talents to support upcoming musical talent, Misha'el who is a part of the The Senate Music Group. The night featured a number of artists a part of The Senate as well as recognised musicians in the industry such as: Adam Blackstone, Omar Edwards, Curt Chambers and Darek Cobbs. The Hollywood Music Summit turned out to be a fun-filled event with a full house and good vibes!

08/24/12 - 'STARTING FROM SCRATCH' PRIVATE SCREENING DEBUT AT BARNSDALL GALLERY THEATRE |

Finally the time had come for the official private screening debut of 'Starting From Scratch' featuring Elisabeth Sandy and James Huang, where Sarah D's single, 'With You' supported the opening credits of the film. "It was so cool to hear my vice on the big screen! I cannot thank James and Sandy enough for the amazing opportunity", says Sarah. Sarah D certainly feels blessed as more opportunities are arising along the horizon!

"Pop is one of the most difficult styles to write in, because it is a mainstream genre; it can be hard to create songs that stand out amongst the cut throat crowd. But Sarah has ingeniously pulled off a well-written, catchy, and unique tune." |

Sarah D’s newest project to date involves writing and being the voice for a track by newly signed DJ, Uberjak’d. Uberjak’d, aka Ben Grzywacz signed to the record Label, Ministry Of Sound where he will be producing his tracks and promoting them on a global scale. Sarah's new single "With You" was recently released in iTunes. The song will be featured in the opening scenes of a new independent film, "Starting From Scratch" featuring James Huang and Elizabeth Sandy. The song is written by Cody Wood. The song is available on iTunes.

June 1st Sarah received some amazing news via email. She had been selected as the 2012 recipient of the VocalizeU Summer Art Intensive in LA. For seven intense days, Sarah will be working one-on-one with industry professionals who specialise in the fields of A&R, managing, producing, writing, artist development, vocal instruction and more in order to develop her skills as an artist.
